Mr. Lackey was a son of the late Henry T. Lackey and Catherine Hudson Lackey Craft. Survivors include: his stepfather, Thomas Craft of Sumter; a daughter, Amanda Demille of Harrison, Michigan; two grandchildren, Abigale Demille and Levi David Demille; three sisters, Dale Rygalski, Debra Nowakowski and Liz Belsole; and one brother, Buck McLeod. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loise McCathern. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Sammy Geddings officiating.
