She serves as a Financial Consultant with Covington Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in Columbia, SC. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Poston, Jr. of Chapin, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Farmer of Irmo, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. James E. Poston Sr. of Lake City, SC. He is a 2004 Graduate of Chapin High School, and 2010 Graduate of The Citadel where he received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He works for Guild Mortgage Co. Columbia, SC.

The 4pm ceremony was performed by Rev. Ned Crosby, cousin of the groom, and a reception followed at the Historic Rice Mill House. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James L Simconis of Chesterfield, VA. The bride's grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Simconis of Pittsburgh, PA. Amanda is a 2008 graduate of East Carolina University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Finance and works as a Financial Consultant with Covington Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in Columbia, SC. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. & Mrs. James E Poston, Jr of Chapin, SC. The bridegroom's grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Fred Farmer of Irmo, SC and the late Mr. & Mrs. James E Poston Sr of Lake City, SC. Jay is a 2010 Graduate of The Citadel, where he received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and is employed at Guild Mortgage Co. in Columbia, SC. The Matron of honor was Leanne Ormsby, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Dana Poston, sister of the groom; Stephanie Smith, Tiffany Veniez, Lauren Moore, Rachel Ray, Sarah Eller, Megan VonWolffradt, niece of the bride, and Molly Morgan Farmer, cousin of the groom The Best man was James E Poston, Jr, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Jase Bourgoyne, Tom Watkins, Butler Trice, Paul Sweatman, Coleman Riddle, Eric Weir and Eli Vonwolffradt, nephew of the bride. Ring bearers were Mason & Dustin Ormsby and Graydon & Bowen Bourgoyne, nephews of the bride and groom. After the honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Irmo, SC.
