He had been in declining health some months. Funeral services will be held from Maple Street Southern Methodist church at 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The service will be conducted by the Rev. B. C. Tachaudy, the Rev. T. B. Shuler, Dr. C. A. Wimberly and the Rev. T. J. Fowler. Interment will be in Bethel Methodist churchyard at Oswego. Mr. Dorn was born in Edgefield county January 23, 1876, and moved to Sumter county in 1884. He spent most of his life in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he was employed as sales manager. For the past 15 years he has lived at College Place and has run the College Place grocery.
