WILLIAM R. DuBOSE Jr.
SUMMERTON – William Rogers "Bill" DuBose Jr., 38, husband of Amy Louise Childers DuBose, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Colleton County Medical Center.
Born March 10, 1971, in Manning, he was a son of Betty DuBose and the late William Rogers DuBose Sr. He was a lineman at Sumter Utilities, a former member of the Lion's Club, and was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving besides his wife and mother of Summerton are a daughter, Morgan Shaw DuBose; a sister, Jennifer Paige DuBose of Summerton; and maternal grandmother, Maude B. Hodge of Summerton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Summerton Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Burgess officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jaye Derienzo, Bill Rogan, Doug Riley, Rob McMillan, Riley Hardee and Joey Thames.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning.
