Karl and Ida entered the United States in 1902 Karl and Ida became naturalized American citizens on 28 Sep 1912. That made the children also American citizens. They first lived in Laramie, Wyoming, and then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1904. In 1907 Karl Ruehl took up a homestead south of Wellington, Colorado. After Karl and Ida passed away, Karl Jr. lived there til death took him. Now Fred Ruehl lives there. Helen Floyd Snider (or Helen and Floyd) have two daughters and a son. My father, Karl Fedrich Ruehl, was born in Falkenberg, Germany, March 29, 1866. He married Ida Gerisch in Freinenwalds, Germany. He had one sister Louise 10 years older then he was. He had one half brother, don’t know his first name, last Ruehl. Aunt Helen’s daughter, Beverly (Richard Brownfield, Burbank, California) daughter Tie-Lee. Ramona (M. E. Smith). Meta Reimer married Bernard Lahmann. They had 9 children; John, Henry, (Aline), Ben, Adolph, William, Hinie, Peter, George. John had 6 children, Ben, August, Martha, Agnes, Wilfred, Loretta. You could go to Martha Hall and find out about them. That’s all I can think about now. Maybe you can find a little in that to help. Why don’t you go over to Rebeccas someday or evening. Maybe Uncle Bill can tell you some things about the Lahmanns and Reimers.
