4320 Trenholm Road he had a nephew and physician, Dr. Ed DesChamps and his granddaughter and loving caregiver, Paige Sandifer Upon retiring from the pipe manufacturing business, he became a licensed real estate broker, remained active with the pipe business, and served as president of the South Carolina Concrete Pipe Association. He was very active in the community as a charter member of both Trenholm Road Methodist Church and the Columbia Sertoma Club. He was active in the Summit Club, the Executive Club, Fort Jackson Officer’s Club, Forest Lake Country Club, Spring Valley Country club and numerous dance and civic organizations. He was a pround Clemson alumnus, longtime IPTAY and scholarship donor, being recognized as a “Golden Tiger” in 1993. [2] |
