MADRAY Patricia Logan Madray, 75, wife of Thomas William "Billy" Madray, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in St. Charles, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Hoyt Logan Sr. and the late Julia Atkinson Logan. Mrs. Madray was an active member of Grace Baptist Church and the Winsome Sunday school class. She was dedicated to visiting shut-ins and those in nursing homes. She retired from Campbell Soup Co., where she was a purchasing agent. Survivors besides her husband include a daughter, Debbie Johnson and her husband, Monty, of Greensboro, Ga.; a son, Tommy Madray and his wife, Toni, of Sumter; six grandchildren, Adam Johnson, April Johnson, Austin Johnson, Alex Johnson, Lindsay Madray and Hunter Madray; two sisters, Marjorie Wheat and her husband, Jearal, of Rector, Ark., and Montana D. Stello of Charleston; a brother, Daniel Hoyt Logan Jr. and his wife, Eleanor, of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bailey Grant Madray. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. James Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the home, 307 Rogers Ave. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 219 West Calhoun St., Sumter, S.C. 29150.
