Born March 31, 1932, in Sumter, he was a son of the late John David "Bozie" Hudson and the late Susie Atkins Hudson Bochette. He was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Campbell Soup Co. and was the owner of Hudson's Used Cars. Survivors include his wife of 63 years; two brothers, Tommy Hudson and Mike Bochette; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four children, Keith, Christopher, Kevin and Paula Hudson; and siblings, Nathan Hudson, Leatha Truett, Herbert Hudson Sr., Butch Bochette, Henrietta Smith, Susan Robinson, Rosa Lee Maslanko, John David Hudson Jr. and Catherine Craft. A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 4235 Nazarene Church Road, Sumter, SC 29154. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.  [5, 7, 8, 10]
