| HIST | PATSY LOIS GIBBONS GEDDINGS Posted Tuesday, May 11, 2021 6:00 am Patsy Lois Gibbons Geddings, 67, wife of Alton R. Geddings Jr., died on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at her home. Born on June 18, 1953, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Thadeus P. and Joyce Pierce Gibbons. Mrs. Geddings attended Family Worship Assembly Church in Coward. She loved her family and enjoyed crocheting. Survivors in addition to her husband of 44 years include one son, Alton R. Geddings III (Jessie) of Lumberton, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Michael (Kayla), Lily, Alie, Nathaniel and Noah; one great-grandchild, Hendrix; two brothers, Billy Gibbons (Patricia) of Manning and Thadeus P. Gibbons Jr. (Terry) of Sumter; three sisters, Judy Barker of Sumter, Linda Shealey of Lake City and Sheila Christmas (Sammy) of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor David Odom officiating. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorials may be made to Family Worship Assembly, 4311 U.S. 52, Coward, SC 29530. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [1] | |
