He is survived by his wife of Manning; a son, Charles "Scooter" Wilkes of Manning; a daughter, Carolyn "Cissy" Hutcherson (Ben) of Sumter; and two grandchildren, Gabbi and Beau. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Beau Wilkes Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the home, 1217 Tansy St., Manning.
