We make pizzas, calzones, house salads, Greek salads, subs and hot wings. We also sell Otis Spunkmeyer cookies — the best cookies in the world. WHERE ARE YOU FROM ORIGINALLY? Sumter ARE YOU THE ORIGINAL OWNER? Yes. The previous tenant in this location owned Old School restaurant. HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THIS BUSINESS? I've been in the food business for my entire career. I was a supervising partner at five Sonic Drive-Ins for years. It was our dream to be in business for ourselves. We saved our money and we were finally able to do it, and it's getting better every day. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING IN BUSINESS FOR YOURSELF? The freedom to decide what we want to do and how we do it. WHAT IS ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS? The hours. They're demanding. You have to really be passionate about what you do. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL SLOGAN OR MISSION STATEMENT YOU FOLLOW? Pizza is our passion. That's why we started. My wife and I fell in love in a pizzeria, and I asked her to marry me there. We've loved pizza ever since. GENERAL COMMENTS We want to thank everyone who has tried us out. A lot of people have given us a shot and we appreciate that.
