Survivors include his father of Sumter; wife, Sarah Jacobs DuBose of Ridgeway; two children, Daniel Caraway (Carla) of Dalzell and Jennifer Prescott (Michael) of Sumter; stepchildren, Nancy Branham (Robbie) of Sumter, Jake DuBose of Columbia and Marybeth Lynch (Web) of Sumter; seven grandchildren; a sister, Sheila Caraway Cannon of Sumter; and a stepsister, Debbie Huggins (Vernie) of Sumter. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Caraway; and a stepsister, Cindy Polito. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
