  HIST	of Sumter, South Carolina VERA O. BRAMLETT Vera Overstreet Bramlett, 84, widow of William T. "Billy" Bramlett Sr., died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning. Born in Statesboro, Ga., she was a daughter of the late James B. and Zellie Croft Overstreet. Mrs. Bramlett was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church. She was the retired co-owner/operator of Bramlett's Amoco Service Station. Survivors include three children, William T. Bramlett Jr. (Linda) of Elgin, Billie Joan Reus of Richmond, Va., and Celeste Bramlett (L.C. Evans) of Summerville; four grandchildren, Randy Reus, Roger Reus, Jennifer Bramlett and Priscilla McLeod; four great-grandchildren, Justin Leviner, Lacie Bramlett, Caitlyn McLeod and Colby McLeod; two brothers, Alf Overstreet (Jennie) of Sumter and Jimmie Overstreet (Kathy) of Panama City, Fla.; and one sister, Annie Laura McCants of Bishopville. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Overstreet. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Stokes and the Rev. L.C. Evans Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Lake Marion Nursing Center for all of their kindness and diligence over the past two years.
