John Pressley "J.P." Goins LAKE CITY - John Pressley "J.P." Goins, 72, husband of Winnie Lee Coker Goins, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Lake City Community Hospital in Lake City. Born in Lane, SC, he was a son of the late Henry Pressley Goins and Maude Burress Goins. Surviving are his wife of 50 years of Lake City; a daughter, Stacey Suzanne Roberts (Gary) of Lake City; five grandchildren, Tiffany Nicole Roberts, Douglas Timothy Goins, Eric Michael Goins, Logan Eugene Roberts, Shaylin Suzanne Roberts; one great-grandson, William James Cook, Jr. siblings, Alberta Watts, James Henry Goins, Sam W. Goins, Thomas "Tommy" Goins, Patricia Reese, Dianne Curby, Ann Brown; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, John Timothy Goins, and brothers, Billy Joe Goins and Raymond L. Goins. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Freedom Worship Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastors Carl Lavender and Donnie Witherspoon officiating.
