TINDAL John Joseph "Joe" Tindal, age 60, beloved husband of 14 years to Judge Lee Anna Beard Tindal, died on Sunday, May 16, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Sumter, a son of the late Henry Drane Jr. and Mildred Wessinger Tindal. He graduated from Newberry College and was the owner and operator of Custom Cabinets and Doors. Mr. Tindal had formerly worked for ASCS; was a farmer; loved to hunt and fish; and was an avid duck hunter. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him. He was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Zanne Tindal Morris and her husband, Greg, of Sumter and Joanne Tindal Overstreet and her husband, Kevin, of Sumter; a stepdaughter, Melissa Roman of Neeses; a stepson, Robbie Padgett and his wife, Karen, of Goldsboro, N.C.; a brother, Henry Drane Tindal III and his wife, Deborah; 14 grandchildren, Gregory, Millie, Riley, Tiffany, Amanda, Tyler, Emma, Desi, Dana, Buddy, Will, Rhianna, Charlie and Jackson; and two nephews, Dee Tindal and Stan Tindal. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Rusty Wilson and the Rev. Harold Waynick officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Bullock Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the South Carolina Oncology Associates, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
