Officiating will be Pastor Clay Werner. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will received friends Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Pallbearers will be Aaron Brazell, Austin Brazell, Adam Brazell, Steven Medlin, Steve Berry Jr. and Christopher Vining. Mr. Berry died on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010. Born in Sumter, he was a son of Alma Ruth Berry and the late Walter Lavern Berry. He was a lifetime area resident, a member of Lexington Presbyterian Church and was employed with South Carolina Department of Transportation. He was a true gentleman and a devoted and loving son, husband, father and brother. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his mother, Alma Ruth Berry, are his wife, Jewel Berry; daughter, Meagan Blaine Wolfe; son, Scott Walter Berry; sisters, Debbie Ardis (Jimmy) and Kathy Thynes; and brother, Steven Berry (Debbie).
