  HIST	of Sumter, South Carolina SARA KATHERINE PARTIN ERON Posted Friday, January 17, 2020 6:00 am Sara Katherine Partin Eron, 74, died on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born on May 31, 1945, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Hazel J. and Sarah Brown Partin. She was the owner of Sara's Cafe. She enjoyed cooking and caring for and spending time with her family. Survivors include two children, Richard A. Eron II (Tara) of Dalzell and Catherine "Marci" Eron of Sumter; four grandchildren, Carson, Carrington, Cameron and Tori (Chris); two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Nicholas; four brothers, Julian Partin of Sumter, Wayne Partin (Anne) of Charleston, Norman Partin (Barbara) and Mickey Partin, both of Sumter; a sister, Helen Partin of Sumter; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, James H. "Jim" Partin, Charles C. Partin, Robert L. "Bobby" Partin, Herman Partin and Lewis Partin; and a sister, Betty P. Etheredge. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with Wayne McElveen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Norman and Barbara Partin, 4879 Wedgelake Drive. Memorials may be made to the American Stroke Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Ave., Suite 214, Overland Park, KS 66202.
