Born at Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, he was a son of the late Hallie D. and Janie Bradley Nesbitt. Mr. Nesbitt was a member of the First Church of God. He retired from Sumter Music & Amusement Co. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca C. Nesbitt; a daughter, Rose Ann Infinger (Tommy); three stepsons, Larry Zilch of Camden, Pete Zilch (Janice) of Florence and John Zilch (Kim) of Dalzell; three granddaughters, Ellen, Mary Peyton and Abby Zilch; and three grandsons, Robert, Aiden and Zachary Zilch. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Nesbitt and the Rev. Calvin Nesbitt. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Beacham officiated. Burial was at Wells Cemetery. The family received friends from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
