SMITH HOPKINS - Memorial services for Donna Ridgeway Smith, 56, of Hopkins, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Mrs. Smith passed away on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010. She was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Ware Shoals. She was a daughter of Ray D. Ridgeway and the late Bobbie C. Ridgeway and stepdaughter of Linda W. Ridgeway. Mrs. Smith was a loving and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her three beloved labs, "Georgia Belle," "Dixie Belle" and "Savannah." She was previously employed as an LPN, and also worked with Baptist Hospital as an insurance liaison with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Michael B. Smith; daughters, Tiffany Harmon Baldwin (husband, San D. Baldwin) and Brittany Harmon Wall (husband, Matthew W. Wall); stepsons, Michael T. Smith and Stewart S. Smith; sisters, Sandra Ridgeway Davis (husband, Richard P. Davis) and Robin R. Singleton (husband, Mike O. Singelton); stepbrothers, Ken A. Avin Jr. and Kevin K. Avin; four grandchildren, Dylan Wall, Dallas Wall, Dawson Wall and Mercedes Baldwin; two step-grandchildren; two nieces, Robin Davis Bonner and Chelsea Singleton; and two nephews, Richard Davis and Matthew Singleton.
