Martha E. King HARTSVILLE - Funeral service for Martha E. (Tinker McNeese) King, age 79, who passed away March 11, 2013, will be held Thursday at noon in the chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Murray and Rev. John C. Smith, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. King was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late James A. and Maybelle Williamson Hutchinson. She was a member of Forest Hills Independent Baptist Church. She and her husband Bill owned and operated Bill's Superette for many years. Surviving are one son, Ricky (Bobbie) McNeese, Myrtle Beach; three sisters, Maybelle Clanton, Darlington, Marylee (Perry) Andrews, Darlington and Carrie (Mike) Kirby, Pisgah Forest, N.C.; two brothers, James ( Phyllis) Hutchinson, Grandy, N.C., and George (Mary) Hutchinson, Wilmington, N.C.; two grandchildren, Richie (Kimberly) McNeese, Summerville and Ben McNeese, Lexington; three great-grandchildren, Katie, Bailey and Connor McNeese, Summerville. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wylie Jack McNeese and Julius H. King; two sons, Jackie and Timmy McNeese, and one grandson, Patrick McNeese. www.nortonfh.net
