| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina ROSALIE HUDSON HODGE Posted Friday, December 24, 2021 6:00 am Rosalie Hudson Hodge went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at the age of 95. She was the wife of Alton Graham and Gene Hodge, both of whom predeceased her. She was born in Sumter, to the late Beulah Mae and Archie Hudson. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Iva Belle Hodge, Jeanette Goodwin, Gilbert Hudson and Thomas Hudson. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Wells. She also leaves to cherish her memory: her nieces, Carol Ardis and Brenda Fontenot, who she referred to as "her girls"; together with many other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne McElveen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Providence Baptist Church and other times at the home of her niece, 400 Hudson Graham Road. Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 2445 Old Manning Road, Sumter, SC 29150. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
