Harelson, 86, widow of Walter E. "Ed" Harelson, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at the Agape Senior Community in Columbia. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Clark. Mrs. Harelson was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Bill Harelson of North Myrtle Beach and Jim Harelson and wife, Wanda, of Lexington; a sister, Virginia Deas of Sumter; three granddaughters, Ashley Harelson, Nicole Phillips and Brantley Freeman; and a great-grandson, Evan Phillips.
