| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina JOYCE ANN GEDDINGS REINACHER Posted Wednesday, July 5, 2023 6:00 am DALZELL - Joyce Ann Geddings Reinacher, 84, wife of 46 years to Michael Robert Reinacher, died on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at her home. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Beaty Roland Geddings and Amberlee McLeod Geddings. Mrs. Reinacher was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a retired bookkeeper with Brunson Nursery and Sumter Casket Co. Surviving are her husband of Dalzell; a son, Roland T. Gardner (Della) of Nevada; two daughters, Gayle Sheheen of Camden and Tomilynn Clark (Charles) of Nevada; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Florence Long (Cliff) of Utah; and two brothers, Roland Wayne Geddings and Larry Geddings (Rachel), both of Sumter. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Beaty Roland Geddings Jr. and Ronald Blake Geddings; a sister, Gladys Geddings; and a granddaughter, Melissa Blair Gardner. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Mark Judson officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 198 E. Wesmark Blvd., Suite 2, Sumter, SC 29150.
