Born in Mayesville, he was a son of the late James Harvey Wilson Sr. and Jane Gamble Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Worldwide Church of God, and he was a retired electrician. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; a son, Jimmy G. Wilson; a daughter, Becky Dollar (Danny); four grandchildren, Jimmy G. Wilson Jr. (Gabby), Michael Shane Wilson, Kimberly K. Rudd and Alex Dollar; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Private graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.
