Floyd, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at National Healthcare Center. Born in Turbeville, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Manuel and Iola Jones Osborne. She and her husband founded the Pocalla Holiness Church, where they served together for 22 years. Upon their retirement, she attended Bible Way Holiness Church. Surviving are one daughter, Dianne Hudson and husband, the Rev. Marion Hudson, of Sumter; one brother, the Rev. Elvin Osborne of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Elease Gray of Dayton, Ohio; four grandsons, Joey, Ken and Sean Floyd and the Rev. Dr. Timothy Hudson; two granddaughters, Christy Hudson Brown and Maria Floyd Hiatt; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, the Rev. Bobby Joe Floyd and Glenn Ellison Floyd. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pocalla Holiness Church with her grandson, the Rev. Dr. Timothy Hudson, and the Rev. Claudie Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Pocalla Holiness Church cemetery. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. Associate ministers and deacons of Pocalla Holiness Church and Bible Way Holiness Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at her daughter's home, 313 Pack Road.
