| HIST | of Greenville, South Carolina She was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. from mulitiple trauma, said Sumter County Coroner Verna Moore. • The wreck occurred two miles west of Sumter, said Cpl. Bryan McDougald of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, when Crawford’s 2002 Oldsmobile ran off the road and hit a tree. • “The vehicle she was in was traveling east on Loring Mill Road, traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturning and striking a tree,” McDouglad said. “She was pronounced at the scene.” • She was not wearing a seatbelt, and her speed was estimated at 70 mph in a 45 mph zone, McDouglad said. • “It’s unknown if alcohol was a factor, and toxicology tests are pending at this time through the coroner’s office,” he said. • Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home. CRAWFORD Christina Gabrielle Crawford, 19, daughter of Ronnie Crawford and Rene Buckner, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, as a result of injuries incurred in an automobile accident. Christina was born in Sumter on Sept. 4, 1987. She was previously employed with Chili's of Sumter and most recently with Cingular. Christi, to all who knew her, was a vibrant, energetic person with a bubbly personality that drew all who were around her into her spirit. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to be among her family or friends. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, David Buckner of Sumter; her father and stepmother, Glenda Crawford of Greer; a sister, Camille A. Crawford of Sumter; maternal grandfather, George P. Smith and his wife, JonAnn, of Sumter; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald H. Crawford Sr. of Sumter. She was preceeded in death by her brother, Rory Crawford, and her maternal grandmother, Irma C. Smith. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Andrew Basham officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brad White, Mike Griffith, Clayton Carter, Kevin Carter, Jordan Brinson and Aaron Todd.
