Born July 22, 1935, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Theron Everette and Janie Pearl Dennis Rogers. She was a retired secretary for Bob's Body Shop and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of Manning; a daughter, Betty Jane Spigner Mahoney (Ernie) of Manning; a son, Robert Lee "Robbie" Spigner Jr. (Dianne) of Manning; a brother, Dargan Carlisle Rogers (Patty) of Charleston; a sister, Jan Rogers Hardy (Rubin) of Manning; three grandchildren, Alica Jane Mahoney Adams (Jason) of Irmo, Linwood Ernest Mahoney III (Melissa) of Manning and James Lee Mahoney of Florence; and two great-grandchildren, Breanna Lee Brown of Ticonderoga, N.Y., and McKenzie Kate Mahoney of Manning. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Drew Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Clarendon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning and at other times at the residence, 2072 Alex Harvin Highway, Manning. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1794 Old Georgetown Road, Manning, or to the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, 86 Jonathan Lucas St., Charleston, SC 29425.
