  HIST	of Sumter, South Carolina Steve Zeigler Beaty Stevens “Steve” Zeigler, 70, husband of Judith Barton Zeigler, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012. Born in Denmark, he was a son of the late Elijah Beaty and Margaret Jones Zeigler. Mr. Zeigler was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a 1965 graduate of Clemson University and was a member of Kappa Delta Chi Fraternity, which is now Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was owner and operator of Wateree Construction Co. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; one son, Derek Stevens Zeigler and wife, Cindy; one daughter, Margaret Zeigler Moore; one sister, Patricia Boozer, all of Sumter; and five grandchildren, Tristen Moore, Carly Moore, Stevens Moore, Beaty Caroline Zeigler and Ellie Zeigler. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Barber officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
