Chandler of Cades and Lotus Chandler of Sumter. She graduated from Coker College and the University of South Carolina. She is the English Department chairwoman at Central Carolina Technical College. The bridegroom is the son of the late Richard and Peggy Briley of Greenville, N.C. He attended East Carolina University and Pitt Community College. He is the former owner of Briary Garden Center in Kinston, N.C., and Lady George Charters of Swansboro, N.C. He is the owner of Colonial Classics. Dr. James R. Chandler, brother of the bride, officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by John Ellen and Jackson Nichols, guitarists. Lauren Renaud, daughter of the bride, served as matron of honor. Cassidy Carlton, granddaughter of the bridegroom, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Stephanie Fidler, daughter of the bridegroom. Christopher Briley, son of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Renaud, son-in-law of the bride, and Douglas Fidler, son-in-law of the bridegroom. A dinner reception followed the ceremony.
