| HIST | I hope that Ella is really Eleanor. jkh ELEANOR BARTLETTE PACK Posted Wednesday, September 22, 2021 6:00 am Eleanor Bartlette Pack, 79, widow of Carl Edward Pack, died on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at NHC Healthcare-Sumter. Born on Jan. 28, 1942, in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Mack and Mable Copeland Bartlette. Eleanor was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God. She was a loving wife to Edward for 30 years. Family was her greatest joy. She loved crafts and arranging flowers. She took pride in her business and working with family and friends. She owned and operated C & E Crafts. Survivors include four children, Donnie McLeod Sr. (Robyn), Robbie McLeod, Debbie Osteen (Robert) and Benny McLeod, all of Sumter; 11 grandchildren, Donnie McLeod Jr. (Jennifer), Chrissy McLeod, John Keffer (Claire), Alaina Keffer, Thomas Keffer, Angel McLeod (Joe), Casey Abrams (Whit), Alex Ward, Robert Osteen III (Brenda), Dudley Osteen (Tony) and Chance Osteen (Shannon); 16 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Emery, Dayven, Shayley, Zoey, Nicholas, Autumn, Hayden, Dallas, Lily, Lucy, Genevieve, Bridgit, Amanda, Tiffany and Abbey; four great-great-grandchildren, Kinley, River, Jason and Rae; a special niece and best friend, Carolyn Avins; and a number of nieces and nephews she loved very much. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mack Bartlette Jr.; and four sisters, Lottie Atkinson, Frances Poole, Mary Griffin and Margie Wright. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Green Acres Assembly of God with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. Burial will be at Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie McLeod Jr., Nicholas Lloyd, Mark Yarborough, Wayne Poole, Joe Moore and James Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Wright, Joby Griffin, Johnny Wright and Whit Abrams. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of NHC Healthcare-Sumter for the excellent care they provided. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
