Robin Raye Davis and Michael Vernon Bonner were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Sumter. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Davis of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Anamarie E. Davis and the late Lt. Col. Robert W. Davis Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ridgeway, and the late Bobbie Ridgeway, all of Sumter. She graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a bachelor of arts in psychology. The bridegroom is the son of Vernon Bonner of Sumter and Ms. Holly Schenk of Bloomfield, N.J., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Bonner, the late Mattie Barkley Bonner, all of Sumter, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Schenk of Bloomfield. He graduated from Francis Marion University with a bachelor of science in biology. He is a lieutenant in the United States Army. Pastor Mark Bordeaux officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by MacKenzie Conner, pianist; Paige Hudson, vocalist; and Clint McKellar, guitarist / vocalist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white A-line gown of crinkle chiffon featuring a sweetheart beaded lace bodice and a sweep train. She carried three mini calla lilies, three white Gerber daisies and filler flowers centered by a stargazer lily. Ashlee Malone served as maid of honor, with Victoria Foote as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Aimee Kodat, Erica Ludovina, Lauren Solomon, Juliana Jordan and Emma Smith. Zoe Stewart and Austin Marie Barnhill served as flower girls. Brett Mezey and Bobby Altman served as best men. Groomsmen were Scott Bonner, Chris Stewart, Shawn Stewart, Richard Davis and Kevin Riley. Barrett Conner and Ben Conner served as ring bearers. Also participating were Chelsea Singleton, Caitlin Graham, Amie Molnar, Lindsey Guynes and Elizabeth McLeod. The bride's parents held the reception at the Church of the Holy Comforter. The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at New Beginning Catering Service. Following a wedding trip to San Diego, Calif., the couple resides in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
