Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Henry Thomas Shumaker and Alice Metts Shumaker. Mrs. Davis was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Harry A. "Gus" Davis IV (Kim) and William Pat Davis (Angie), both of Sumter; six sisters; and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Sumter Cemetery with the Rev.
