He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Rembert. Mr. Boykin was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Carlene Moore Boykin; daughter, Sherry Boykin Grainger (Billy) of Springhill; son, Wiley Boykin (Misty) of Springhill; brothers, Mitchell Boykin and Dwight Boykin; and grandchildren, Tyler Grainger, Kayla Boykin and Hunter Boykin.
