Born April 2, 1947, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Hodge Pack and Helen Askins Pack. She was a graduate of Furman High School. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She had a strong Christian faith and served as pianist at several area churches. She was a dedicated childcare worker and worked for Warth Childcare. She loved sewing and hanging curtains. Survivors include three sons, Thomas Mitchell Morris Jr. (Mary), Richard Gregory Morris (Zanne) and Robert Darren Morris (Holly); 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Cynthia Ruth Clontz (Ricky), Stella Louise Elmore and Mary Frances Shivers (Frank); and a longtime friend, Buddy DuBose. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Russell Elmore. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Frank Shivers officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Frank Shivers Evangelistic Association, 2005 Congress Road, Hopkins. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
