View Tribute Book James Lamar “Bubba” Pack, Jr., 76, died Friday, January 5, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Sumter, he was a son of Thelma Atkinson Pack and the late James Lamar Pack, Sr. Mr. Pack was a retired Lab Technician and was employed by Dr. Warren Smith for over 30 years. Surviving is his mother; a brother, Marley Gerald Pack; a sister, Alice Faye Pack McLeod all of Sumter; four nieces, Michelle Ardis (Stacy), Chelsea Holliday, Rebekah Pack, and Ravyn Ardis; one nephew, James Pack III, and his sister-in-law, Kathy Pack. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Benjamin Pack. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home & Crematory in memory of James L.
