She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved people, and enjoyed sports. Survivors include her mother of Sumter; a brother, Carl Carraway (Denise) of Elgin; a stepsister, Jeannie Moss of Sumter; two nephews, James Carraway and Michael Moss; a niece, Amanda Thode (Dan); special uncle and aunt, Norward and Marguerite Reardon; and a number of extended family members. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Philip Wells. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Steve Williams and the Rev. Steve Shumake officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the Annie Armstrong Offering, c/o Grace Baptist Church, 219 W. Calhoun St., Sumter, SC 29150.
