Born March 1, 1949, in Sumter County, he was the son of the late Marion Moise Brown and the late Myrtle Bell Holcomb Brown. He was a carpenter and retired from Harden Construction Company. Survivors in addition to his wife of 48 years include one daughter, Heather Michelle Feus (Brian) of Florence; two grandchildren, Olivia Feus and Phillip Feus; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Annie Brown Goins, Marie Baker and Linda Brown; and two brothers, his twin Donald E. Brown, and Marion Brown. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025, in the Lewis Chapel Church Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Mel Thompson. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be sent to Lewis Chapel Church Building Fund, 1510 Plowden Mill Road, Sumter, SC 29153.
