| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina Date Published: December 14, 2008 Hunt-Coker Jami Lynn Hunt and Bryan Joseph Coker were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at Jefferson Road Freewill Baptist Church, Sumter. The bride is the daughter of Debra Hunt of Sumter and Lynn and Gail Hunt of Lancaster, and the granddaughter of Cecil and Margie Wilson of Summerton and the late Junior and Edna Hunt of Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Sumter High School and the University of South Carolina Upstate with a bachelor of arts in early childhood education. She is employed by Sumter School District 17 as a teacher. The bridegroom is the son of Ron and Diane Coker of New Zion, and the grandson of the late Rudolph and Arley Coker of New Zion and the late Herbert and Maggie Lee of Olanta. He graduated from Clarendon Hall and attended Trident Technical College. He is employed by Hickman Refrigeration of Manning. The Rev. William F. Jeffers officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by the Rev. Jeffers and Mrs. Pat Jeffers, vocalists. Given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her grandfather, Mr. Wilson, the bride wore an A-line gown of white satin adorned with metallic embroidery and featuring removable cap sleeves, a chiffon split front and a chapel train. She carried a handheld bouquet of crimson roses and carnations accented with white limonium. Jessica Hunt, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Peters and Barbie Coker. Cadence Coker served as flower girl. Joel Carver served as best man. Groomsmen were Ron Coker, brother of the bridegroom, and Jason Coker. Ushers were Joey Hickman, brother of the bridegroom, and Bobby Whitler. Allen Whitler served as ring bearer. Also participating were Wyatt Wilson, Randy Hughes, Benjamin Hughes, Cody Baird and Mrs. Carolyn Price. The reception was given by the bride’s mother, family and friends at Kingsbury Elementary School. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom’s parents at the Golden Corral.
