| HIST | of Kershaw, South Carolina Hilda Lois Gardner KERSHAW — Funeral services for Hilda Lois Gardner, 73, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery. Miss Gardner was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, August 1. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Mae Kennington Gardner. She attended Laurel Hill Baptist Church and had retired from Springs Industries. Surviving are nieces, Debbie Young, Sandy Camp, Denise Butler, Myra Mackey, Penny Smith, Stephanie Gardner, Pat Gardner; and nephews, Tony Davis, Russell, Tom and Bob Gardner; a sister-in-law, Doris Gardner; and nineteen great-nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, her little dog, Abbey. She was preceded in death by by a sister, Ann Davis; and two brothers, T.J. Gardner and Leroy “Skinny” Gardner. The family will receive friends Monday, August 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Baker Conference Center, 105 N. Minor Street, and other times at the home of her niece, 403 S. Minor Street.
