Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Joe and Etheleen McIntosh. Earl was the owner/operator of McIntosh Paint and Body Shop. He put his faith in God. He was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool. He loved Mopar and car shows. His true joy in life came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always supporting them at their beauty pageants and any other activities they were involved in. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by a daughter, Tanya McIntosh Harper and her husband, Anthony, of Hanover, Maryland; a special niece, Shannon Barnett and her husband, Lewis, of Lake City; two grandchildren, Natalie Harper and Nathaniel Harper; two godchildren, Landon Barnett and Anah Barnett; and two sisters, Debbie McIntosh Young and Susie McIntosh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bo McIntosh. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Victor VanRas officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.
