"Pat" Hodge Sr., 81, husband of Joyce Rogers Hodge, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at his home. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Alton and Mildred Hodge. Mr. Hodge was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He retired from Campbell Soup Co. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Wanda Garner of Alcolu and Bonnie Oxendine of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five brothers; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his son, Harmon P. Hodge Jr.; daughter, Shelby H. Green; and granddaughter, Tina Grubb. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Cottrell officiating. Burial will be in Sumter Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4855 Huckabee Road.
