| HIST | of Mauldin, South Carolina Ms. Hughes, My name is J.M. Rawlinson and I live in LaGrange, Georgia, although I grew up in Greeleyville. My mother was Dorothy T. Rawlinson, a daughter of Robert Marion, Jr. and Rosa Cain Thompson. I have been working with a man named Wilson McElveen from Columbia on some Thompson family issues. He is the one who sent me to the Singleton and related families web site. I'm getting ready to go out of town, so I haven't had a lot of time to look at the site, but found a few errors that I would like to pass along to you. These relate to the Rawlinsons on the site, not the Thompsons. I have been married twice. My first wife was Carol McGinty Rawlinson, originally from Greenville and now in Atlanta. You may know or know of Carol. She is a Methodist minister and was assigned to St. John's church in Sumter for a few years. She and I had two sons together, Patrick McGinty Rawlinson and Brian McLean Rawlinson. Patrick is divorced from his wife Aimee and Brian is married to the former Emily Smith. Patrick has three boys (triplets) and they are listed correctly. Brian and Emily have two boys and they are listed correctly also. My second wife is Lea Henderson Rawlinson. She has two daughters from her first marriage, Elizabeth White Chrane (married to Rob Chrane) and Susan White. They are listed as Rawlinsons on the site and they aren't. However, I have been there step-dad for 25 years, so I consider them mine, even though they are step-daughters. When I get back from this trip I will look at the site more closely.
