Born in Dillon, he was a son of the late Lemmie Marvin and Azalea Taylor Webster. Mr. Webster was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam and Korean War and retired after serving 22 years. He also retired from the S.C. Department of Corrections. Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Hearrell (Robert), Joyce Taylor (Timothy), Diana Rockwood (Dean) and Polly Ann Webster Poston, all of Sumter; two sons, Harvey Webster of Tampa, Fla., and David Webster (Christina) of England; a brother, Mark Webster (Jackie); a sister, Shirlene Hughes (Jeff) of Kentucky; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Bordeaux officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
