Watford, will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008, in Cain Funeral Home Chapel, Florence, conducted by Rev. Rob Pierce. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, P.O. Box 100551, Florence, SC 29502-0552 or www.mcleodfoundation.org. Mrs. Watford, 64, died Friday, September 12, 2008, in Carolinas Hospital System. She was born January 7, 1944, in Florence, to the late James C. Turbeville and Mildred Truluck O’Brien. She was a member of Summerton Baptist Church, and a former member of First Baptist Church, Florence, where she taught 12-year-old girls’ Sunday School Class. Mrs. Watford served on the Board of Mental Health in Florence. She loved to travel and camp with her husband. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: daughters, Melody (Dr. Richard) Young of Little River, Tara Wiggins of Myrtle Beach, and Paige Brown of Florence; sons, Jay (Chrysti) Watford of Conway, and Brad Watford of Florence; brother, Ronald Turbeville; niece, Rainy Suggs; and grandchildren, McKenzie Young, Matthew Gardner, Hanna Brown, Colin Brown, Bobby Watford, Cameron Watford, Lindsay Watford, Bradford Watford and Preston Watford.
