She graduated from Clarendon Hall and the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science in retailing. She is employed by Abercrombie and Fitch as the store manager of Abercrombie Kids. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Stokes of Sumter and the late William "Billy" Gibbons of Turbeville, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hanna of Sumter, William Jake Gibbons and the late Patricia Ann Gibbons of Turbeville, and Anne Stokes of Sumter. He graduated from Laurence Manning Academy and the University of South Carolina with an associate's degree in business. He is employed by Thompson Industrial. The Revs. Ben Spearman and Charlie Tyler officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Sam Sanders, guitarist; and Ben Spearman, vocalist. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a diamond white strapless gown of embroidered silk organza featuring a scalloped neckline of matte beading, a trumpet skirt and a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia, orange and pink roses surrounded by pale green hydrangea and accented with stephanotis. Sarah Langdon Martin and Mary-Michal Boyette Martin, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth DuBose Brewer, Lindsay Briggs Furse, Dixie DuBose Stukes, Lillian Guerry Stukes and Jennifer Dawn Wilcox. Grant Gibbons, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were James Atkinson, Jason Brunson, Keith Gainey, Chris Meldrim, Brian Spring and Jared Thompson. The bride's parents held the reception at San Souci Farm.
