The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Dale Koehn and David Ray Duckworth, all of Omaha, Ark., and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sanford of Bethel, Conn. and Mrs. Betty Jean Duckworth and the late James Forest of Clawson, Mich. She graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. and attended Nascar Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C. She is employed in management with Hampton Suites Inc. in Mooresville, N.C. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Daly Ward Sr. of Sumter and John Benjamin Edens Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., and the grandson of Mrs. Manley Conway Sanders Sr. and the late Manley Conway Sanders Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Bethea Edens Sr., all of Sumter. He attended the University of South Carolina and is a student at Nascar Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C. He is employed as an automotive technician at Woodie's Enterprises in Charlotte. The Rev. John Hamilton Smith officiated. Music was provided by tenor guitarist John Bigum. Scripture readings were provided by Emily Sanders Edens, sister of the groom, and the groom's stepfather. Presented by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a satin A-line gown with cap sleeves, adorned with beaded lace on the tulle overlay, featuring an empire bodice and a chapel train. Emily Edens served as maid of honor, and Brittany Snyder, friend of the bride, was a bridesmaid. Taylor Marie Edens Ward served as flower girl. The bridegroom's father served as best man, and Joe Dangerfield, friend of the groom, was a groomsman. Ryan Jesse Duckworth, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer. Also participating were Stuart Daly Ward Jr., Charles Anderson Ward, Cadet Jackson Ross Ward and Dayton Berkeley Ward. The reception was held at the historic church grounds by candlelight.
