Causey, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Born Nov. 4, 1944, in Lake City, Florida, she was a daughter of the late R.H. and Edna Lee Way. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a co-owner of Hair Designers for 55 years. Survivors include her husband of 54 years; two children, Timothy D. Causey (Joy) of Lexington and Chandra Causey Robinson (Robbie) of Lamar; grandchildren, Courtney McElveen, Donald Robinson, Scott Causey and Ashley Causey; great-grandchildren, Tucker McElveen and Matthew Robinson; a brother, Randy Way (Siel) of Bolivia, North Carolina; and a sister, Jackie Hodge (Kenneth) of Summerton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tracy Way. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Shumake officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Summerton. Pallbearers will be Scott Causey, Kirk Way, Tray Way, Donald Robinson, Mac Bagnal and Kenneth Hodge III. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 219 W.
