By the1820 SC Census, Nicholas is no longer in Sumter District but a Nicholas appears in Orangeburg County. Also in Orangeburg County are John (page 217 notes 320010-12010) and another John (page 217 notes 000010-00011). Nicholas appears again in Orangeburg County in the 1830 Census, page 014. Also in Orangeburg County are Thomas Stone (page 049) and William Stone (page 033).
