He was retired from DuPont. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles E. Nunnery II (Susan) and Alvin O. Nunnery (Barbara); two grandchildren, Courtney Nunnery and Ric Nunnery; two stepdaughters, Laura Rogers (Darell) and Teresa Anderson (Andrew); three sisters, Mattie Lee Gaylord, Mary Ellen Dukes (Curry) and Esther Koozer (Bill); and three brothers, James Nunnery (Susan), Larry Nunnery (Pat) and David Nunnery. He was preceded in death by a son, Eric N. Nunnery. Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to a Hospice of one’s choice.
