- It appears that Susanna Stone was still alive May 6, 1818 when Equity Court Record was recorded.
In the 1820 Sumter District Census appears a Susan Stone. This may be Susannah Corbett, the wife (or widow) of Eusebius Stone, Jr.
James Corbett, father of Susanna Corbett, lived next door to Thomas Maples (the father of Seany Maples) in the 1790 SC Camden District, Clarendon County Census. Susanna later became Seany's daughter in law (she married Seany's son Eusebius). (As a side note, I noticed that Hugh Cochran lived nearby. In later generations, a Stone will marry a Cochran.) Other neighbors of James Corbett are William Brunson, Widow Richardson, Consort Brown, Richard Richardson, John Ragin, Charles Cantey, Thomas Wise, and further down is John and William McIlveen. All of these surnames intermarry.
